Choosing a runner size
Runner sizes run from 20 in to 3 ft wide and 6 to 21 ft long, and you can enter any width and length within each rug's range. Each rug's page shows the sizes it can be woven in.
Width: leave 4–6 in of floor on each side. A 2 ft runner suits a hallway about 3 ft wide; a 2.6–3 ft runner suits one 3.5–4 ft wide.
Length: leave 4–6 in of floor at both ends, and check that doors open freely over it. In a long hallway, one long runner looks better than two short ones.
Kitchen: lay the runner in front of the sink and counters, stopping short of the corners.
Bedroom: one runner on each side of the bed, starting a few inches under it.
Stairs: measure the depth of one step and the height of one riser, multiply by the number of steps, and add about 6 in. Send us your measurements from the rug's page before you order.
Woven to order, delivered free
Every runner is woven to order in 15–20 days in our family workshops in the Rabat-Salé region, then standard shipping takes 7–14 business days to every destination. Shipping is free on every order.
As with any handmade rug, the finished size can differ slightly from the size ordered. If your runner has to fit an exact space, send us a message from the rug's page before you order.
Keeping a runner in place
On wood, tile or stone, use a non-slip rug pad underneath.
A hallway runner takes more footsteps than any other rug: turn it end to end every few months so it wears evenly.
