Morrocan Rug – Handwoven Ivory Berber Runner
$809.00
This handwoven morrocan rug is a neutral ivory Berber runner in undyed natural wool, made to bring quiet, understated elegance to hallways, entryways and kitchens. It carries no dye and no busy pattern — just a single fine black line drawn inside its edges — so the plush pile and the soft movement of natural fleece do all the work. Each runner is hand-knotted by the El Abbassi family in their own workshops in Morocco's Rabat-Sale region, drawing on the Beni Ourain weaving tradition of the Amazigh (Berber) artisans. This is a heritage of undyed, minimal designs where the beauty of the wool itself takes centre stage. The fibre is 100% natural undyed wool, an honest fleece carpet with no chemical dyes and a calm ivory-and-cream palette. The deep hand-knotted pile sits on a tightly woven base built to handle high-traffic hallways, and hand-braided cream tassels finish both ends. It is a genuinely eco-friendly rug, woven the way it always has been. Style it as hallway floor decor, an entryway mat, or a soft runner for a galley kitchen. It layers beautifully beside a bed, along a landing, or in a quiet reading corner, and its neutral tone lets your furniture and art take the lead. The palette suits Berber, Scandinavian, Japandi and minimal boho interiors. Every runner is made to order, so tell us your hallway measurements and we will set up a custom length and width for a perfect fit. Because each piece is woven by hand, small natural variations in the fleece are part of its character. To care for it, vacuum gently without a beater bar, shake it out regularly, and rotate now and then so the pile wears evenly; spot clean with cold water and mild soap and arrange annual professional cleaning. Standard worldwide shipping is free on every order and already included in the price, fully tracked and insured.
