Carved Moroccan rugs, hand-knotted in our family workshops in Morocco's Rabat-Salé region and shaped by hand so lines, squares and waves stand in relief. Also called sculpted or high-low rugs, each one is woven to order in the size you choose.

Every rug here is hand-knotted on a loom, knot by knot, like the rest of our rugs. What makes it carved is its relief: part of the pattern sits higher than the rest, so it shows as light and shadow across the rug and you can feel it underfoot.
You will also see these rugs called sculpted or high-low. Two techniques give the relief:
Many carved rugs sold elsewhere are tufted: yarn punched through a canvas backing with a tufting gun, then glued. Ours are not. There is no canvas and no glue, and the back of each rug shows its pattern knot by knot.
Every rug here can be woven to your own width and length: enter them on the rug's page and the price updates as you type. The relief shows best in light from the side, such as a window beside the rug.
Your rug is woven in 15–20 days in our family workshops in the Rabat-Salé region, then standard shipping takes 7–14 business days to every destination. Shipping is free on every order and already included in the price.
Because every rug is made by hand, small differences in pattern and color from the photos are the mark of handwork, not a flaw.
